Apparently, I think today is the 14th.

14 year anniversary. Yeah of the 2011 tornadoes, which was a huge fucking crazy thing that happened. Uh,

I was looking at my Facebook memories and I remember my dad had ordered me to take a Flywheel, uh, to the part store and get a ring gear pressed onto it. And all the tornado sirens were going off just, you know, whoosh. And it was about 6:30 a.m. and I was like, I don’t know if I should go to the part store. And my dad was like, all these goddamn tornado. Sirens has got everybody scared to get your pussy fucking ass to the goddamn fucking part store. You fucking baby and get that ring gear pressed onto the flywheel. God fucking damn it. That’s what my dad said and I did cuz I was like well, you know, I was more afraid of my dad than dying of a tornado so yep. Haha, and I sat there, I took my dog Gneegnerz with me. And I sat there, I got there a little early and waiting for the parts store to open up and all of a sudden, I hear this.

Huge noise like a freight train. And my car like started rocking like rocking. Like, fucking. Oh my God. And the Uh, there was a red light there, like where the um,

Part store was and they started flopping around. You know the like just the oh it was so crazy. And

Gosh, I guess this went on for about Shit 10 minutes 5 or 10 minutes, I don’t remember. But it I was just like God damn and it got. So it was so crazy. That my dog, she was so tiny, jumped up and started barking at everything. All, you know, it was

Pretty intense. I mean, my car was like I thought my car was fixing to get picked up, by a fucking tornado. But it blew over and the guys, you know, who owned the parts where they were already there. And so, I just like, was like, Hey, you know, uh, cuz after the tornado blew over, they opened up. And I was like, Uh, here’s this flywheel, you know? And it needs this ring gear pressed onto. It needs a new ring gear. Yeah, and they were like, okay, haha, it’s like a You know, I don’t even remember I was so like,

It was so crazy and then uh, I left and on the way home, it took me 15 minutes to get to the part store. It took me an hour and a half to get home.

And,

There were downed trees everywhere and power lines. And people were like, I had a Sawzall in my car, uh, battery operated like a DeWalt, and I helped like, chop up some crap. I had all kind of stuff in my car anyways. And um, God damn. Yeah, it was a crazy. Crazy time and then you know power was out for 9 days. Oh actually my ex-wife was pregnant with my daughter at the time and she was in the bathroom with all the dogs and it like fucked our roof up and took a bunch of shingles off. I mean fucked everything up though. Destroyed like 2 or 3 of my dad’s buildings, my adopted sister’s trampoline. Uh, our fence everything was so crazy.

And uh, I didn’t stop working. I mean the calls just started coming in because I was a generator technician uh and our biggest customer base was poultry Farms. And uh,

Holy shit, like I didn’t stop working. Until my daughter was born. Yeah. And then like I took a week off, that was a huge, big deal too. Cuz we had so much work to do, it’s like I have to take some time off. It’s my baby but um,

Holy shit, that whole summer, everything. It was like, you know, 15 18, hour days, 100 hours a week. Fucking I worked 56 hours straight, uh, that next week after the tornado because everything was so fucked up and people’s generators had to run in these rural areas. You know, where the chicken farms were that had to run. They never had to run that much before and so the people who didn’t service the crap regularly you know everybody who were on a like a regular service schedule, you know our good customers their shit stayed running, you know like 95% of it like I mean stuff gives problems anyways though but Oh my God. So everybody who neglected? The crap. Yeah, their generators.

Fucked up, you know, a few days into that. So I mean it was all over the state, of Alabama. Tennessee. Georgia fucking all the way from like, Winchester Tennessee. To like Trenton Georgia Chattanooga past Chattanooga. Uh fucking all the way as far south as like Gordo Alabama and shit. Just this huge area and it was Non-Stop. For about 4 weeks.

And then my daughter was born. Yeah, she was actually born a month and 2 days after all that happened.

Yeah, God damn. I was just thinking about all that because 1 of my friends made a post. And it’s like, oh yeah, that happened because

What a crazy time.

Me and my step cousin. We were out in it. Like and dad was out in it all by himself, he wouldn’t let nobody helped him and we just I mean so much we did so much.

And we had to have police escorts into some areas because people were looting and it was just crazy. It was a crazy surreal fucking time. People were lying lighting up um, around lighting up. Haha Whatever, uh, around like the gas stations, this was what blew my fucking mind. Okay, you could go 30 minutes down the road to Gadsden. And it was like nothing happened. That’s where my ex-wife is from. After things cleared off before the next Wave came through she went to her mom’s and stayed there until the power came back on. And, I mean, it was just like, what’s the tornado in Gadsden Alabama? Yeah. And, uh, Shit.

But people were up like around, you know, sand Mountain, were lining up, you know, waiting in line for 2 and 3 hours for fucking gas. And you could drive 30 minutes down the road, and it was like, Nothing, you know, like it was It was like, Hey, you know, they got gas in Gadsden with no lines. Haha Yeah, I did. I totally pissed off some people telling them that it’s like, just drive down to Gadsden it was untouched and you know, like all crazy what the fuck. Yeah, that’s human beings though. Anyways, I just thought about all that.

The kids and I are fixing to go on. Another adventure, a big crazy adventure.

I got to download this fucking game. It’s what halfway 50 is it 50%? Yeah. 51% has been downloading for probably the last 10 hours.

What a sack of shit this internet.

But you know what? This is a cool hotel room and I wish we had 1 More Night.

Yeah. Well, my son just said that and he’s got his cap guns and he’s popping them off, but he he’s not. Like I was, I was just a reckless little shit when I was his age. He he’s like, no, I’m not going to get his, he doesn’t want to, it’s not worth it, it’s not worth it. Yeah, my daughter just said like my kids are smarter than me. I used to I would really want to do it right now.
