Hello, hello. Yep.
Um, I had a really awesome Father’s Day.
I got off work about 11:45. I think. And the kids were like Dad. Dad, Dad, Dad, Dad. And so I drove down there. And they wanted Mexican food, right? Well we got to the parking lot of the Mexican restaurant. But then my daughter was like, oh my god, let’s go to Rome. To Rome Georgia. Yep. And I was like, okay. Because my kids had money. I don’t and uh they paid for like everything. Both of them did. It was really cool. I mean I told them I would pay them back when I got Paid next week, but um, So, we drove to Rome. And they wanted to get lottery tickets. My daughter didn’t win anything, but my son won.
6 dollars. Yep. And oh, it had the dollar sign 6 dollars.
6 dollars.
I don’t know. I’ve never seen it. Do the dollar sign before, but then it took it away and it won’t put it back.
We went to Publix my daughter, wanted Sushi from Publix and my son wanted chicken fingers from Publix and I wanted Del Taco. Yep. And uh,
That’s what we had. It was great.
This chick at Del Taco who took my order.
Uh, was hitting on me pretty hard. It was kind of funny. She called me her darling and was just like
I don’t know. I looked at her and I was like, yeah, but
I drove here all the way from Huntsville. My kids made me come to Rome. For Father’s Day.
Uh, it’s all over my other blog, but Rome, Georgia is our favorite.
Town. To go Adventure in. We haven’t we don’t go there as much as we used to.
Well, I mean, I haven’t had a car but uh, It’s a really special super cool place. I guess I could post some pictures, huh?
But we had a great time. Uh, and then my daughter was just like, hey, I want to go swimming. So we went to Noccalula Falls. And, uh, we had to go back to their house so they could get all their swimming stuff and that’s what we did. We hiked down to this little swimming hole. And my daughter and my son just jumped in. I was still Wearing my work clothes. I was not anticipating a swimming adventure and then it started pouring down rain. And they were like, yay. E-hall yehall, yay. Yeah. Uh
E-hall. I don’t know.

Like what why would it what could it be anything else that I’m saying? Yehaw! Anyways uh
Shit. We were there for almost 2 hours and, uh, then they wanted to Go to Jack’s and get water. So that’s what we did and then it was like, 8:00. So I dropped them off and I mash hugged them, both as hard as I could and I got the most awesome cards I have to take pictures of
Probably tomorrow, I left them in the car. My daughter named the car, Carly’s.

And that’s uh, that’s the name of my car.
It was really awesome though on the way that their to roam, uh,
There to roam on the way to Rome Georgia. Yeah, the air conditioner was just working. So great on the way back. It wasn’t. The case we were just like what the hell? This is. It’s so hot and awful.
This is the best Father’s day I’ve had in 2 years.
We had so much fun, I think. Last year for Father’s Day we went to uh,
Shit, what did we do last year for Father’s Day? I know the year before that 2023, we went to Jack’s and hung out. It was like maybe a week after the nervous breakdown. My ex-wife thought I had completely lost my mind. I kind of did

But I volunteered to work today. I think I mentioned that In this post in the post this morning, it was like, Yeah, We worked for,
About an hour and 15 minutes and got paid for 8 hours, which is, it isn’t getting any better than that. Haha
And that’s why.
That’s why I came in today and yesterday uh, was like the same thing pretty much. But for 6 hours And that’s going to be on my next check, which is going to be pretty great. The Fourth of July check is going to be really awesome.
Yeah, the week of the 4th, We have a bunch of crazy stuff planned.
This guy at work, I guess he’s my friend now because I added him on Facebook, he was telling me about the Brazilian steakhouse on uh, Bridge Street and I don’t know, I thought about like, yeah, I’m gonna take my kids there, but I don’t know if I want to spend that much. Dang money.
Yeah.
Oh like after all this stuff and everything. Next month, I’m gonna start saving money.
Like the month of August and September and so forth. It’s just save. Save, save, save save.
I have to get a bunch of stuff done to the car like, uh, It needs new shocks and it needs the air conditioner fixed. However, that’s supposed to happen. And,
The staring is a little loose. The steering? Yeah.
I need to fix the right side.
Mirror. And the need to.
I need to um, fix the back doors, they don’t open. Got to fix that. I’m going to get it repainted.
Yeah, I think 1 of my roommate, the 1 who took me back and forth to work. She said she knew a place that would repaint it for about 300 dollars.
Or something, maybe 4. Hundred. That’s what I’m going to do. And It. Oh yeah. And most importantly it needs new tires.
The brakes are great, the headlights work, all the, you know, the blinkers and the uh
Hell, it runs awesome. It needs an oil change.
But uh, Pretty great car.

But gosh, as soon as I dropped the kids off, I just started missing them all crazy. It sucks. I miss them all the time. That’s why I always go do crazy overboard fun stuff with them. Every time we You know, every time I get a chance,
I get to sleep in tomorrow. But I’m probably gonna.
Do my chores as soon as I can. I’m, it’s been a really long day, like seriously, it started. I got up about 7:00 this morning, And went to work. I got to work about 9:00 clocked in not everything’s fired up about 10:30. And uh, Shit I have just been go. Go. Go ever since
And now, it’s
16 after 10:00.
Yep, and I don’t know what else to say this is seriously. It has it’s been the best Father’s Day.
Like, and Since 2022. I guess in the last. Yeah. The best Father’s Day in 3 years,
Oh, it was just so much fun. Yay. Uh and if they weren’t going to the beach next week, you know, I would get them because I’m on vacation. But I also just really need the down time. Yeah.
I’ve been going nonstop. Ever since I’ve been going. Yeah. Non-stop like work. Work work. For the last couple of years
