Oh, I just got done painting the room for my roommate. And uh, well except the door frame And cleaning up the uh, splattered around. Primer, that the people. That painted the primer on did. I guess I don’t know the other day or something. And uh, That’s what I’m going to do tomorrow. And then

Uh, yeah. I’ve been up since midnight, and because I was so sick yesterday. That I just, I’m spent.

Yep, and

It’s nice to be laying in my bed and not be sick. That was horrible. That’s the sickest I’ve been.

Probably in about 4 years. Yeah.

Maybe 5. I’m trying to think I was sick. I was sicker than that. Like the winner of uh, the Christmas holidays like of 2020. Yeah, like

I think it was about the week between Christmas and New Year’s and my house remodeling boss. That’s when Ibwas doing house remodeling. Uh, full time. He was gone to South Carolina for like a week to visit his daughter him and his wife. So I was off work for a week anyways and it. So it worked out

Well, then there was the time that uh,

I was spraying herbicide and I don’t know if I just inhaled too much of it or something like an idiot, I don’t remember but I’m got sick as shit. Uh, that was in 2021 but

I don’t think I was as sick as I was yesterday. Then So I guess it would have to be yeah, the uh

I guess 5 years ago, I’m just way over complicating that. With words, but

I’m so tired and we ran uh, today we got off about 10.

At my regular job. Yeah. That wasn’t too bad. There’s this chick though, up the line, who drives me? Absolutely crazy. Anytime she comes around, it freaks me out and it’s kind of funny.

Uh, she pops up on the people. I may know all the time on Facebook, too. It’s like, yeah, I I don’t

I wish it was easier for me to talk to ladies. I really Sometimes it is and then uh I don’t know. Sometimes it really freaks me out.

She’s 1 of the ones that freaks me out. Like there’s this other chick there that I can talk to all the time, but then I can’t, I could never ask her out, you know. So it’s like

I guess the 1 that freaks me out that I just mentioned, she’s really, really, really pretty and it’s it’s like Yeah, I don’t know. It would just be all over. If uh, if that happened

But it was still like, you know, I haven’t seen her in a week and a half. So I was just like, wow, yeah, there she is. She’s just as cute as she was last year, haha. Haha, I’ve talked about her actually in the uh, Father’s Day. Post back over the summer. Last. Summer, that was

I guess over 6 months ago, I was, I’ve mentioned it because I came in, uh, to work 1 day on Father’s Day. Yeah.

Anyways.

Yeah, It wasn’t that bad. It’s funny though. It’s like, you know, it’s like yeah, y’all got to come in and work a Saturday and then I’m off tomorrow like a regular. Like a regular day and I got overtime for it so it’s all good but it’s back to work. It’s normal. As normal. Yeah, I think I Got all the tripped up on those words and my last post shit. I’m tired.

But,

It’s crazy though because like this room is a normal paint. Uh, normal paint job. So it’s like, you know, 4 hours and I’m practically done. And I had 33 hours in that last job, it was so much work but the lady who rents the room came out and was like you’re the 1, who painted that room and I was like, yeah. Yep. Me and she’s like that’s the best looking paint job I’ve ever seen. Like, it looks so wonderful. It’s immaculate. That’s what she said. Yeah. And I was, uh, she was like Impressed, you know, and that made me happy, it’s like, I really did. A great job on that, but I sanded the shit out of everything too. I didn’t do that on this. Wall on the walls at this. At this this 1, I don’t know what I’m trying to say. That lady was like, I was like, you know, there’s some paint bubbles here where the I guess whoever painted it last and then they painted it over with primer and it bubbled up. And I was like, yeah, she’s like, it doesn’t matter. You can just, you don’t have to worry about those because I, I really wanted to sand those out. And, uh,

Fill them in with.

Drywall mud. Um, you know why my brain is

I don’t my brain’s trying really hard. Yeah. Haha

But she she said, it didn’t matter. So That’s, that’s good.

But yeah, like 4 hours that’s like a normal amount of time to paint a room, you know. But uh yeah it’s just the contrast I guess I was like yeah that’s how I wish how long I wished the other 1 would have taken. That was that was a lot. I spent my entire Thanksgiving break doing that.

I guess ultimately though I had fun and to be told like that it’s you know it was so great that made me really happy it’s like yeah it’s 1 thing I can do well is paint.

Paint and build decks and tile showers.

I guess I can lay flooring pretty well too.

Yeah, like the vinyl flooring that snaps together. That’s something I do pretty well.

That’s what I told the lady too I was like, I went to the David Ford University of house remodeling. That’s how I learned to paint, but it’s true. Yeah, for 6 years. That was uh, that was some of the best times I ever had working. Was working for David Ford. Eric’s dad. Yep.

I’ve made a few posts about that though and posted a lot of pictures. Gosh, buried far far back.

I think the first round of vacation I took over the summer, um, Made some posts about my house, remodeling Adventures? Yeah I don’t guess I’m going to dig back and find them either and like post a link to them here but they’re back there if anybody wants to scroll. For you know, 15 or 20 minutes? Haha haha. Yeah.

1 thing though. I wish I had more money uh, because I would go get my kids and do something fun. I miss my kids a whole bunch.

Yeah, that sucks.

But,

I have been eating. From the food bar at Whole Foods. I got something yesterday and I got something today and I got something back. I guess it’s been almost a month ago when Peter came to jam. And, I tell you Whole Foods is It was a really great place to get. Delicious meals. Their hot bar, it’s like I thought Food City had a fancy hot bar but not really.

Whole Foods is like, It’s like Publix mixed with Food City but like better. Yeah, and it’s really not that much more you know expensive. It’s about like Publix. I was surprised because my ex sister-in-law goes to Whole Foods and she’s like, You know.

Rich. Haha.

But for real, it’s like that’s what I associate because all her contemporaries are like doctors and lawyers and shit.

People making, you know, 6 figures at least a year. Like it’s the I remember meeting a lot of her friends back in the day and just being like, dang, you know,

This 1 chick, she was some kind of data analyst, for Google making you know 3 or 4 hundred thousand dollars a year. And uh,

We used to be friends on Facebook, actually. I don’t think we are anymore, though.

I’m friends with her brother.

But yeah, Whole Foods is is pretty great.

I don’t I don’t really know what else to say. Um, I’m tired and If I fall asleep, I’m going to wake up and probably work on music.

And tomorrow, I’m going to finish. Painting stuff and cleaning up and enjoy my last day off. Of the winter shutdown.

It’s been a lot of fun. It has I’ve uh, except for getting sick yesterday.

I practiced a lot. I’ve made up a couple of new songs.
