Well, I’m kind of stumped at the concept album right now.

Uh, it’s really dumb because

The conditions changed. It’s supposed to be like, a satirical album, but the, uh, person and the people that it’s based off of, from the perspective has changed significantly since, uh,

The idea popped in my head like 2 years ago and I already made up all these damn songs and it’s just different now. It’s kind of weird and it’s kind of stupid.

But I don’t really know where to go with it. If, if I want to develop it into something completely different.

Or keep it. I can’t keep it the same though because the conditions changed its like shit. What do I do? Like, it’s hard to explain.

And still be kind of vague about it. You know, I can’t it’s a it’s top secret concept album. I can talk about it but I can’t talk about. Specifically what it’s about, you know, it’s uh, But all that, like

Changed. But I was going back and listening to some of the stuff that I was doing. Uh back before the summer and it sounds really good. Uh oh that stuff I did with the guitar and bass and I found a pretty decent

Um, Drum VST. That sounds, you know, pretty good. And I’ve got a few songs that they just sound really great. But I was afraid that it would sound too much like my own regular stuff. So I got a keyboard. I’m going to rework them with the keyboard, which sounds really it’s better. It sounds better for what I want to do.

Oh,

But then the everything changed. Oh like over the summer, things really changed and so I’m like, oh shit, do I even want to do the damn thing? The songs were great. But

It doesn’t make sense. Like with anything else either and it’s like, but then I got all these songs. So I don’t know what I’m going to do because I was it was hitting me as all this. Uh, there’s just 1 Song. I can’t talk about what it, you know, is about. But it’s like it’s ridiculous though. That’s the thing. It’s, it’s a, um, concept album isn’t a serious album.

But I can’t release it like under anything. That is going to be like it’s not, I can’t have. Any association with it other than I created it and released it into the ether.

That’s the concept album up, and It’s quite a few songs, it’s about.

A dozen at least. Yeah. And there’s some of my best songs but they are so Ridiculous and abstract and, uh, it’s just not something I would ever be able to perform

Live or anything. I know I have all my stuff for that and some of my like main stuff is pretty ridiculous, but it’s still like me. This is some kind of weird like off. Uh,

It just came out of my brain, you know, it’s the factory work. It’s uh, a lot of it came out while I was

Oh, at Target. Yeah, that’s where most of the songs. Came into my head from for the concept Album? But it started off.

About 5 years ago. I created this like Like alternate reality universe. Um, it’s just that’s when I was working at the where I work. Now, the first time and it’s like, all this crazy stuff gets into my brain. You know, I mean, thoughts, it’s, you’re around so many different kinds of people all the time and the machines and and the, the output is just, it’s a field, you know? And your brain is, a receptor of Consciousness and it, you know, it’s a receiver and thoughts are also broadcast, you know? It’s it’s it did transmits and receives like a You know, a phone. But uh, that’s just all right there, just swirling around. And so, but it just like it passes through all this different shit. Especially when you’re around a lot of electronics, And you know I was especially then it was uh robots holding robots. And but all that stuff, just I, you know, weave is in and out at different angles and uh, You know, intersects

It into my brain is like a Nexus and that’s because it’s bits and pieces of what is in front of me and around me. Mixed with, you know, all kinds of other crazy shit. It’s uh I don’t really know how to properly frame an explanation for all this. It’s not that complicated though, you know things exist, they vibrate on a frequency. And uh, they transmit, you know, any kind of input and output, that’s your sensory organs, detect and it’s all processed. And I just, I guess my point is, you know, this all that shit, but it’s some of the craziest stuff ever, it just pops into my head and and, you know, it’s I guess both. It comes up from within and uh, you know, outside too. But it’s remarkable and I’ve come up with some really crazy stuff. Also, when I was doing house remodeling,

Um, just stuff would pop in my head, you know, we would be doing something monotonous I would be like, working the saw, you know, cutting the same pieces of, uh, flooring or Of doing something, you know, over and over. I’d be painting

Or yeah or sanding or something, you know, something repetitive all day and just the stuff would uh, Get into my brain and I would go. Well, that’s a dang song. And it first started doing this, though, really that I noticed like like where the hell is this even coming from? When I worked at the Guntersville State Park? Lodge back in 2001, I almost said 2021. I did. I had to say that I had to think when I said that haha I was like no it was that long ago. 25 years ago. And uh, it was the song. It was like It was like From Another Dimension or something. It it just popped in my head, a full formed song. Um, about being in a little brown jeep, that that’s it, just kind of started from there but uh,

All this stuff. And it was it was when I was setting up a banquet for maybe 500 guests. So I was doing a monotonous you know tasks I was having to set up all these tables the same tables in rows over and over and over.

But it’s it is really funny.

I didn’t make up a lot of songs when I was doing generators because it wasn’t repetitive, you know, it was something different every day and it was, you had to think. Um, and that’s 1 of the reasons why I prefer these Bullshit monotonous factory jobs because they Provide a contrasting element and a ground to my, you know, crazy brain. But uh, I just don’t know what to do about the concept album. Yep. I’m kind of over explaining all that I guess. But, uh, Like what the hell am I supposed to do?

Cuz I don’t want to, you know, those were just some of the best songs that ever bought in my head.

Oh gosh, well I’ll figure it all out. Um, but I’m going to do some of the music for it today. I just got like I uh I’m fucking with a Tempo for this 1 song right now and I hope it’s hope it’ll work. But the um, the thing about keyboard and some of the stuff sounds okay, but these little keyboards is the bass

Oh, You don’t get a lot of good bass, sounds out of that. So I’m probably going to have to go back and add like a, a stringed bass. You know, like a real Bass.

Oh, don’t even say the word. Yeah. Oh gosh. Um, no. Like organic, yeah. That’s what

You know, sometimes that’s a great sound. It it’s for bass though. It’s uh an actual like bass. It’s hard to beat that unless you’re using like like really good synth. You know, stuff, which I’ve I don’t have right now, I had some really great vsts. And I don’t know where they are.

Um, I got a lot of them when I bought my MIDI controller. This was

18 years ago and I don’t know where that midi controller is anymore. But, um, Gosh at all. Yeah. What happened to that? It was a it was the 1 I did project. Odin was But, um, that it came with a CD that had a whole bunch of vsts. And 1 of them was this um, Moog clone And it had the sub bass and that’s what we did mole Cricut with. And it was just the uh, mole Cricut

I don’t know. Mole cricket. Thanks. See, I don’t know what the hell even that is, but uh, Like up there, you know?

https://m.soundcloud.com/project-odin/mole-cricket

That’s like the only exception and I I’m I might have to get some other stuff like that but the rest of the sounds you know or so funny on that keyboard. But uh, the slap bass is pretty cool sound and that’s for another song I made up and I don’t know that that’s going to be part of the concept album or not. But uh, It’s about that chick that got into my brains over the summer and she just totally I broke.

Um, the spell. Yeah, that’s all I can figure. That’s I can figure. Is she put a fucking spell on me? Probably more than once. Yeah, I don’t know. It was like really But she, she totally did get my attention, but like, I made up the song about it and I’m, uh, I got some of that worked out, but I just don’t really know how much I want to do that right now either. That’s kind of the thing too. I also have um, you know, ADHD really bad. And I have thought about recently especially because 1 of my roommates has uh a Adderall prescription. She just leaves laying around and I was like, well, you know, I could get back on that shit. But I don’t know that, that’s a good idea because I make that’s, um,

I’m afraid I would like make bad decisions, uh, because I was on that shit when I met my ex fiance. I don’t know but uh that would also maybe that would help me get um it together and with some more output musically. But then it’s like I have so much stuff. I don’t know where to start. Yeah, that’s that’s my point. It’s like where do I start? Well, you just have to start somewhere. So I picked uh, the concept album and stuff because it’s easy and it’s funny and I don’t have to take it that seriously. But then now I’m having to because it’s like uh, it’s not like it was, you know, 3 or 4 months ago. I know that’s vague.

I can’t I have to be vague though talking about it and I, you know, that’s like I said, I don’t even know that I’m going to I have to, I need to record the songs, but I don’t know that I need to, uh, release it in the way that I had originally planned. And and that’s really all I can say about it. Yeah. Gosh, those are. Those are some of the Most ridiculous funniest songs I’ve ever come up with

I’m also really tired of my like main regular songs. I was struggling with that yesterday morning. I was I had my uh set list out in front of me and it’s like yeah.

10:49 AM
Sure is

You know, um, I’ve just had a lot of these songs for A long time. And uh, I just they get old.

Oh, well, you know, I just wanted to get that out of my brain. Yeah. Um,

Uh, still can’t bring myself to go to the doctor, though. I think that’s what I’m going to do. Um, if I don’t feel better tomorrow after work, I’ll go to the doctor. What else can I say? I don’t know. I’m going to Peck around with recording, but I’m also trying to get myself back on the day shift. Sleeping schedule. And

So there’s part of me that just doesn’t want to do anything, but lay here, and fall asleep because that’s what I’m usually doing at this time. You know, for the last month,

I’m sleeping.

So, I don’t know, I’ll probably ought to work out Like exercise. Yeah, that’s what I might ought to do. Thank you, please.
